Requested this book for Christmas after hearing about it
on a Christian radio program. The honesty in which it is told
draws you close to Louis and his family from the beginning and you
find yourself hoping and praying that they are able to come out
on the right side of things. It was hard to put down!
We got this book on Sunday. I had it done by Wednesday or Thursday. It would have been sooner but I had other things I had to get done. After reading about what kind of life he led and seeing the life he now leads, there is no doubt, God is real. One may think they have life hard, but after reading this story & seeing how this young boy survived the streets, his uncle and to be alive today to talk and write about it; this is just incredible. If you have not read this book, you need to do so. You will not regret it. I recommend this book to everyone. Thank you Louis for this book and sharing your story.
